Kerry Grace has reached out and is excited to present to our Fellows about Ready Communities which Kerry kicked off Jan 2024. There is a real opportunity for our Rotarians to connect and partner with her organisation's efforts on the ground in regional communities around Australia.

Ready Communities is a not-for-profit org. based in regional Australia (from the regions, for the regions). They take time to understand what really matters, they bring people together to learn, test ideas and to collaborate and then they play with possibility.

1. Those Eligible to attend and vote:  All financial members of the Rotary Club of Brisbane not including Honorary Members. (Active members only)
2. Meeting Opens 6pm
3. Credentials report – secretary
4. Minutes, The minutes of the AGM Held 12 December 2024 to be accepted.
5. Motion 1: that the Constitution of the Rotary Club of Brisbane be amended
6. Motion 2: That the Bylaws of the Rotary Club of Brisbane be amended
7. Meeting closed

The substantive motion sets club dues for 2026-2027 and allows “dues for service” for those who opt in. 

Both the by-law amendment and the dues motion were approved by the board in August 2025.

PLEASE NOTE WE NEED A QUORUM of 14 present either in-person or by zoom to hold the meeting. Proxies are not allowed under ouir constution.

2025-2026 has been a year of major success. As President I wish to recognise and acknowledge the efforts of our fellow Club members, by handing out awards for contribution to our Club and community.
