The D9620 District Conference is coming up from 28th to 30th March 2025 at the Empire Theatre in Toowoomba. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other clubs, hear from guest speakers, and see the broader work Rotary is doing across the district.

For New Members:
There are grants available to help cover the costs of attending, so if you’re interested, be sure to read up on how to apply. The conference is a good way to get a deeper understanding of Rotary’s work and meet members from across the district.
Key Dates & Events:
- Friday, 28 March: Walk to Say NO to Domestic Violence through Toowoomba’s city centre.
- Saturday, 29 March: Club Roll Call – Now, if anyone can explain exactly what this is and why we need to practise for it, please step forward. We’ll need a volunteer to get this organised in our club!
- Saturday Night: The Great Gatsby themed Gala Dinner – 6:00 PM for a 7:00 PM start.
- Throughout the Conference: Visit the House of Friendship with 21 displays featuring projects from across the district.
A Few Practical Notes:
- The Toowoomba Show is on the same weekend, so it’s best to book your accommodation early.
- The last day to register is 21st March 2025.
If you’re interested in attending or have questions about the grants, let us know. It would be great to see a good turnout from our club!
