A message from the Tree Planting Coordinator:
Could you remind your Club team to wear their Club shirts, name badges and Rotary hats/caps (if they have them)? Water bottles would obviously be good as well.
I am hoping that we will be able to get a group photo of all Rotarians attending as well as another with all our friends of Rotary.

April is Rotary Environment Month – So Let’s Get Planting! CLICK HERE to VOLUNTEER

April is Rotary Environment Month, and there’s no better way to honour it than by getting hands-on in our own community. Rotary isn’t just about great meetings and good conversation over lunch—we also roll up our sleeves and get things done. This year’s D9620 Tree Planting Challenge is the perfect way to do something practical, outdoors, and meaningful with fellow club members and Rotarians from across Brisbane.

District Governor Sue Mulraney has given the go-ahead for another community planting day, and it’s shaping up to be a great one.

Why come along?

âś” Spend your Sunday morning making a visible impact
âś” Enjoy the fresh air and connection with others
âś” Morning tea (including jam and scones!) proudly provided by Kenmore Rotary

Our planting site—Whites Hill Reserve—is being supported by the Brisbane City Council’s Offsets and Restoration Team. It’s a beautiful location and your efforts will make a real difference.

Looking ahead:
This isn’t just a one-off. Incoming District Governors Mark Williams and Ian Hope are already committed to continuing the tradition. Let’s help set the standard with a strong turnout from the Rotary Club of Brisbane.

What to bring:
Gardening gloves, a hat, water, and a good attitude. Friends, partners, and prospective members welcome.
