With over 18 years of experience in the sustainability sector, Luis has been initiating, structuring, and managing ESG, climate change, and sustainability programs and business units such as with Lloyd's Register out of the UK and Australia, and General Motors in the Americas. He deployed first to market new technologies and the enablement of more than 12million Tonnes of CO2e emission reductions per annum to the waste, oil and gas, resources, renewables, maritime, agtech and manufacturing industries. This journey has led to his recognition as a global talent in climate change in Australia.
From his experience in compliance through United Nation’s accreditation and the on global regulatory development, Luisis deploying British Standard’s Institution (BSI) Sustainability solutions across Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific Islands towards a low carbon economy.
Luis firmly believes that innovation and technology must go hand in hand with climate change mitigation and enhancing positive social impact. He advocates for reliable, measurable practices to avoid wasting time and resources, preventing reputational damage, and effectively addressing the global crisis we face.
