Coercive Control
Ms Bonnie Ho is currently in the very early stages of PhD research on using public education to raise awareness about coercive control.
Coercive control is a subtle form of abuse characterised as a pattern of behaviours used by an intimate partner to micro-regulate the other into submissiveness, and can result in lifelong psychological and physical harm.
Ms Ho is a psychologist, and has worked in safety psychology and health advertising research at QUT for the past 10 years.
