Georgy Mayo is the Queensland Director of APPEA, which is the national peak body for the oil and gas industry. Georgy has worked for over a decade in the offshore and onshore oil and gas industry with various companies covering conventional and unconventional projects across Australian, NZ and Vietnam.

Prior to that Georgy worked for the Chief Justice of the Federal Court in the Native Title jurisdiction.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws Honours and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the QUT, a Diploma in Legal Practice from QUT and a Post Graduate Certificate in Negotiation from the Harvard Law School. She is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
