Jessica Shannon is the Community Relations Manager at Brisbane Airport Corporation, the operator of Brisbane Airport (BNE).

With more than 23.8 million passengers travelling through the airport in the last 12 months, BNE is Queensland’s most important transport hub, Australia’s third busiest airport and open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Jessica is responsible for the development and implementation of BAC’s broader community engagement program including, but is not limited to, guided tours, community feedback, presentations and seminars to schools, community clubs and industry groups.

She also leads the community awareness initiatives relating to Brisbane new runway which remains on track to open in mid-2020.  Brisbane’s new runway will effectively double BNE’s capacity, allowing it to meet visitor growth (both domestic and international) well into the future.
