Next Monday, the 12th of February, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Professor Narelle Haworth as a guest speaker at the Club. Members will have the opportunity to hear from her hear on the topic of automated driving and why it won’t happen the way it is presented in the news. Narelle is the Director of CARRS-Q, the Centre for Accident Research and Road Safety-Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She has 30 years of experience in road safety research. Her special interest is in improving the safety of the most vulnerable road users – pedestrians, bicyclists and motorcyclists – and other groups such as roadworkers.
